MACCHIA. This is the story of a bumblebee who decided to embark on a journey by crossing a stretch of coastline all composed of Mediterranean scrub. Helichrysum, thyme and wild fennel will accompany the flight of this sensitive soul who will be led by the wind and the sea breeze to a papaya tree where he will rest before departing again.

And from primordial origin –
you rush, you accelerate,
startled by the blaze of a radiant chariot
you will not notice your darkened layer –
stained by the patina of experience.

You, a servant of the swarm,
rapidly
here and there,
and only the salty breeze carries
centuries of scents, evoking –
how his skin,
adorned with a drop of sweat, smelled.

The mind
distills the fluid moment of life into a snapshot.

And in pursuit of sweetness
the sea blurred by the speed
climbs onto the shore stealthily.
Rest, rest, rest –
at last you will drown
in sleep.
